Rev. Adams and his wife, Emily, were originally from Northern Ireland. While at Elmsdale he worked hard to renovate and extensively expand the Church. The old building had seating for approximately 140 while the new church has seating for 230 and will hold 300 people if necessary. With the renovations came a multi-purpose basement including a kitchen. There’s also more classroom space and storage areas and an enlarged office area. The official re-opening of the church and dedication was on August 27, 1995 at 3:30 p.m.
After leaving Elmsdale, Pastor Adams and Emily returned to Northern Ireland where he planned to write and do revival crusades.
