Elmsdale’s Compassionate Heart

In 1989 “The Caring Closet” was formed with Blanche Rennie as its  first coordinator and Anna Oliver served as secretary. This group provided food to the needy and clothes and furniture if needed. Each year the Caring 11000711_792936044121788_8547876095342609422_nCloset Committee prepared the church sanctuary for Thanksgiving Sunday where after the service the food donations were given to a worthy cause such as the West Prince Caring Cupboard.

Today, caring for the needy is carried out by the local Elmsdale Nazarene Mission International council. (NMI). The people of Elmsdale COTN continue to have a compassionate heart for local and international needs around the world.
